About Our Chestnut Hill Primary Care Practice

BIDHC - Chestnut Hill internal medicine general practice is staffed with 6 primary care physicians (PCPs) providing comprehensive care to adult patients. Our physicians are all faculty members of Harvard Medical School and maintain admitting privileges at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Patients seeking to find a doctor in Chestnut Hill can benefit from our great location. We are conveniently located off of Rte 9 and 6.5 miles from route 128 (I-95). BIDMC Laboratory and Radiology services are located on site meaning patients do not have to travel to other medical centers for lab work, x-rays, CT and other radiological services.

The BIDHC - Chestnut Hill primary care center is open Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Calls will be accepted during the lunch hour from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. An answering service will page a BIDHC affiliated physician who is on-call throughout the weekend and after hours if urgent care is needed. Our BIDMC laboratory is open Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and is located in our suite (#204). Radiology services are available on site and are located on the lower level of the practice's building.

Patients should have insurance information available as well as the name of their previous PCP. A complete medical record including an immunization history will need to be forwarded to the practice.

Please Bring to Your First Appointment:

• Your Health insurance card and copayment (required at every visit)
• One legal form of identification with your picture
• List of all medications (prescription and over-the-counter) that you are taking
• Contact your health plan to select your Primary Care Provider (PCP) prior to your first visit

Individuals looking to find a new PCP or doctor of internal medicine in the Chestnut Hill area are encouraged to contact our medical center. In order to expedite the registration process, please have health insurance information available when you call. If possible, please send your medical records prior to your appointment; otherwise bring them with you on your first visit. Partnerships with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Milton and Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Needham mean that you will have access to world renowned specialty care when you need a referral.

The BIDHC - Chestnut Hill primary care center is located at 25 Boylston Street #204, Chestnut Hill, MA 02467 in the Chestnut Hill Medical Center on the west-bound side of Route 9. Our brick office building is situated within the Chestnut Hill Shopping Plaza near Star Market and is right next to the AMC Theatre. We are approximately 6.5 miles from route 95/128. There is free on-site parking. The handicapped entrance is located at the back of the building where you will also find parking. Take the elevator or stairs to the 2nd floor/Suite 204.
