Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
The Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center offers a full spectrum of services, including reconstructive surgery for trauma or cancer patients, breast reconstruction, microsurgery, hand surgery, upper and lower extremity reconstruction, and aesthetic (cosmetic) surgery. Our multidisciplinary approach to care ensures that our patients have the best opportunity for a successful outcome--regardless of the type of procedure.
The highly trained, board-certified surgeons in the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery offer a full spectrum of services for patients, including:
- reconstructive surgery
- breast reconstruction (including breast reductions, lifts, and augmentations)
- craniofacial reconstruction
- hand surgery
- aesthetic (cosmetic) surgery
- lymphatic surgery
We also offer the services of social workers to help patients and their family members cope with any psychological or social issues arising from their injury or illness. In addition, patients have access to a broad range of other care providers including nurses, counselors, physical and occupational therapists, and many others.
