Ophthalmology

The Division of Ophthalmology provides comprehensive medical and surgical treatment of eye diseases, including subspecialty services in:

• glaucoma
• cataract surgery
• cornea and external disease
• refractive surgery (Lasik, PRK)
• neuro-ophthalmology and orbit

Optometry services are also provided. A variety of ancillary testing is available, including fluorescein angiography, fundus photography, ophthalmic ultrasound and visual fields. Ophthalmic laser treatments can be performed on-site. The division's services are provided within the Longwood Medical Eye Center.
