The Clinician Health Service

The Clinician Health Service (CHS) is designed for any physician or psychologist within the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. The CHS provides a safe place to discuss concerns, assist with problem-solving, and make recommendations for ongoing treatment, if indicated.  This process occurs in the context of a one to three session confidential psychiatric consultation. There is no fee.

Confidentiality

All referrals are confidential. Appointments are set up directly with the clinician. There is no on-line record of the meetings nor is insurance billed. Information is shared with others only with the permission of the physician or psychologist except in extreme circumstances such as when there is significant threat of harm to self or others.

Referrals

This is a self referred treatment. Any physician or psychologist may contact Dr. Peck at 667-0651 or via e-mail at ppeck@bidmc.harvard.edu. She will make arrangements for you to meet with one of the CHS staff at a convenient time, usually within 24 hours.

No Fee

All physicians, psychologists, residents and fellows are seen for one to three sessions at no charge, with referrals to outside professionals as needed.
