Elective Admissions
To schedule an elective admission for a patient, contact the appropriate access coordinator:
- Surgical access coordinator: 617-667-7401
- Non-surgical access coordinator: 617-754-2210
Direct Admissions
For patients who need to be emergently admitted but are stable enough to bypass the emergency department:
- Admitting: 617-754-2210 (specify "direct admission" for room assignment)

To transfer a patient to BIDMC from another facility, call:
