Fadi Badlissi, MD
Dr. Fadi Badlissi is a rheumatologist at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham and Director of the Musculoskeletal Medicine Unit at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.
A clinical instructor in medicine at Harvard Medical School, he specializes in rheumatic diseases in the elderly, inflammatory arthritis, and regional pain syndromes. Within the Division of Rheumatology, Dr. Badlissi has been exploring the utility and cost-effectiveness of introducing ultrasound in his clinical practice for musculoskeletal diagnostic purposes and therapeutic guided procedures, as well as for teaching rheumatology fellows.
Dr. Badlissi earned his medical degree at the University of Aleppo in Syria and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Carney Hospital in Dorchester. He also completed fellowships in rheumatology at the University of Missouri Health Sciences Center and in geriatric medicine at Boston Medical Center.
