Joint Replacement Class

Learn What to Expect After Surgery and
How to Prepare for Your Return Home

Now that you will be undergoing total knee or hip replacement surgery, we encourage you to attend a class that will provide the information you need beforehand.

Led by a registered nurse and physical therapist, this class will focus on daily living activities, exercise, pain control and prevention of blood clots. In addition, you will learn what to expect after surgery and how to prepare for your return home.

Parking

Turn onto the Main Campus/East Campus driveway from Brookline Avenue where the sign reads, "East Campus Main Entrance," to garage.

  • Take main elevator in the lobby of the Reisman to the 12th Floor.
  • Take a left out of the elevator and follow the long corridor to the end.
  • The Solarium is located at the end of this corridor.
  • Please note that this is not the same building as the Shapiro Building, where the orthopedic clinic is located. The Main Building is on the same campus and connected to the Shapiro Building.
