Preps for Procedures

Before you have a procedure, you need to flush out your system in order to get the best results. Any residue may obscure the view of your colon, and the whole process may need to be repeated. When you schedule a procedure (a colonoscopy, EGD, flexible sigmoidoscopy, etc.) you will receive detailed instructions explaining how to properly prep for your procedure. If you have questions, check out our FAQs section for answers to the most commonly asked questions. If you still have other questions, please do not hesitate to call your physician's office or 617-667-2135.

To print out your prep instructions, click on the link below. Please note: This is the standard prep that is recommended for most patients. Please confirm with your physician's office that this is appropriate for you before beginning any procedure prep.
