Longwood Grille & Bar
342 Longwood Avenue, Boston
The seventh annual Red Wine & Dark Chocolate Tasting will be the first event to benefit the 2017 Heart Walk team. In 2017, the team and its partner, the Longwood Grille & Bar, continue their quest to raise funds to help the American Heart Association (AHA) fight cardiovascular disease through its research, education and emergency programs. Your donation may help BIDMC win the American Heart Association's "Top Hospital" award for the fifth year in a row!
Mark your calendar for the Boston Heart Walk, too! It will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017, at the Hatch Shell in Boston.
Why wine and chocolate? Because in moderate quantities, they are good for your cardiovascular health.
The Longwood Grille’s Executive Chef, Dianna Ahern, will pair three heart-healthy red wines with three gourmet dishes infused with heart-healthy dark chocolate.
Remarks and Toasts
Dr. Robert Yeh, Director of the Smith Center for Research in Cardiology Outcomes, will deliver remarks on advances in cardiovascular care.
Leadership from the Divisions of Cardiovascular Medicine, Cardiac Surgery and Vascular Surgery will offer toasts reflecting 10 years of cardiovascular history at the CVI.

The event is sponsored jointly by the Inn at Longwood and the CardioVascular Institute (CVI) at BIDMC. Tickets are $50. Seating is limited to 100 and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
