What do you think ultimately made you choose BIDMC?
Location, patient population, hours of operation…I had been a student here and found the environment to be relaxed, positive and challenging to work in.
Of the reasons you chose your profession, which are accentuated by working at BIDMC?
I really liked the environment when I was a student here. All of the staff were supportive, worked together and seemed to have a sense of pride in what they do.
What do you find most rewarding about your work that is unique to BIDMC?
The wide variety of people that I get to help and knowing that they benefit from my interventions. I believe that BIDMC serves a very diverse population.
Generally speaking, can you describe your ideal workday?
I come in each day and have all of the resources I need to treat a patient effectively. BIDMC helps me achieve this by providing equipment with which to work with. Scheduling enough time per patient is always important, too.
