Individualized Exercise Program

Personal attention is what makes Tanger Be Well an exceptional place to exercise and learn about health. In addition to the day-to-day support, direction and advice you receive from the professional staff, you can participate in a more formal, continual program called the Individualized Exercise Program (IEP) at Tanger Be Well.

What is an IEP?

  • A realistic and personalized training plan developed to fit your goals
  • Four individual appointments spread over the course of 12 months
  • Initial, 6-week, 6-month, and 1-year appointment with an exercise physiologist

  • Make your first one-hour appointment

What is the cost of the IEP?

  • FREE for members
  • If you want additional personal training you may purchase individual packages

-Review your health
history with an exercise physiologist
-Discuss goals
-Measurements taken
- Be introduced to basic weight training machines, cardiovascular equipment, stretches and Fitness Advisor*
-30-45 minutes
- Ask your Be Well exercise physiologist questions that have come up
- Learn more strength training exercises
-Enhance cardiovascular program
- 30-45 minutes
- Weigh in
- Revisit goals and objectives
- Update exercise program
- 30-45 minutes
- Update your 6 month follow up

*Fitness Advisor is a computerized system that remembers your exercise routine. This can be used in place of a workout card, during your exercise session.
