Semi-Annual Hospital Freecycle Event
Got a drawer or closet full of office supplies that you don't need? Give them to your coworkers!
BIDMC’s first Free Cycle event, held Tuesday Aug. 11 in the East Campus cafeteria, was a huge success. Six tables and two book shelves worth of paper, hanging folders, file folders, binders, unused toner cartridges, envelopes, labels, desk organizers and other useful office items were available for free to all staff.
The event began with a big crowd at 10 a.m. and by noon only files, hanging folders and toner were left. Because only three of the more than 40 toner cartridges were successfully matched with printers during the event, IS helped match the rest of the cartridges after the event. Those that could not be matched were donated.
